Meet Carly Tolbert, LCSW

As a licensed clinical therapist I am passionate about helping families generally, and children particularly, live their best lives. My work is focused on providing a supportive and collaborative environment to help decrease your child’s presenting symptoms including: tantrums, excessive crying, eating/sleeping problems, defiance, aggression and strained peer relationships. Most importantly, I enjoy working closely with parents and caregivers to develop a deeper understanding of the underlying causes of challenging behavior. Let’s build upon your family’s existing strengths and create solutions that will help relieve tension and stress to improve the quality of your parent-child relationship.

I have been trained by leading experts in the field of Early Childhood mental health; with 10 years experience providing community based therapy both as a clinician and supervisor. I have a strong base in Attachment Theory and integrate both relationship based intervention and trauma informed treatment into my practice.

I’m trained in several child/adolescent centered therapies including Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Sensory Integration, Neurorelational Framework and Interaction Guidance. I use the skillset that is most appropriate for each situation, child, and family, and am most fulfilled by helping children develop new strengths and thrive.
